It is running Linux, a free Unix-type Operating System, and doing much better now that DOS has been deleted.
It's also the machine I use most at work, after ditching the VAXstation 2000 that used to live next to it on my desk.
The machine is located in Hoboken, NJ, as is Stevens. I (Kurt Hockenbury) serve as the local linux-guru, maintaining the campus linux archive+nfs server, and holding meetings of the local user group, called /usr/local/linux. You can email me at kmh@linux.stevens-tech.edu
